The commercial and technical side, without the building work
Elite is a main contractor and a consultancy. Sometimes what you need is the second one. You already have a builder, or you are still deciding whether to buy a building at all, and you want someone who prices and runs this work for a living sitting on your side of the table.
What we are engaged for
- Appraisal before purchase: what the building will take to put right, and where it stands on planning and Building Control.
- London planning: what is likely to pass, the application itself, and the conditions that come attached to a consent.
- Building Control compliance: which route to take, what the inspector will want to see, and what has to be in place before completion.
- Contract administration: instructions, valuations, extensions of time, and keeping the records that support them while the job is running.
- Cost and commercial management: budgets, cost reports, tender analysis, change control and final accounts.
- Structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, coordinated with the architect’s drawings rather than issued alongside them.
How we work
You can engage us for one piece of this — a cost plan, a tender report, a period of contract administration — or for the whole commercial side of a job. If a question needs a discipline we do not cover, we will say so rather than take the fee and find out later.
Who you are dealing with
Elite is a family business. Dr Assil Shareef is Managing Director; Ahmad Alsharif is Projects Director and leads the commercial side. They are sister and brother. The people who price the work are the people who answer for it, and one of them will be in the first meeting.
