Project Overview
Elite ran a refurbishment programme on board the motor yacht Kalizma across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, working out of Malta.
Kalizma was built in 1906 and is among the best known classic motor yachts afloat. She was extensively restored in 2020, before our involvement; our work came after that, on the interior rather than the hull.
We supplied and installed bespoke wood flooring and fitted joinery, carried out the internal decoration and refurbishment, hung the wallpaper, supplied the bespoke dining table and chairs, and closed out the snagging.
A vessel of that age has little in common with a building site. Access is tight, much of the fabric is original and effectively irreplaceable, and every trade has to work around what is already there rather than strip it out. It is the kind of job that rewards a careful finishing team working to fixed, agreed tolerances — which is the same standard we hold on a prime London interior.
