This page lists every cookie elitecg.co.uk uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains everything else we do with personal information. Last updated 21 September 2026.
The short version
Nothing that tracks you is placed until you agree to it. You are asked the first time you arrive, and you can say no. If you say no the site works exactly as it does if you say yes — you simply get no advertising cookies. You can change your answer at any time, on this page or through the cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Cookies we set without asking

Advertising cookies — only if you agree
We advertise on Instagram and Facebook. The Meta pixel tells Meta that a browser visited a page on this site. We use it to measure whether that advertising works, and to show follow-up advertising to people who have already looked at a page here. Meta can also use it to build advertising audiences on its own platforms. None of it loads until you have agreed; before that the code sits on the page inert.

Meta also sets its own cookies on facebook.com and instagram.com if you are signed in there. Those are Meta’s, governed by Meta’s policies rather than ours. Meta processes this information in the United States; our Privacy Notice explains the safeguard we rely on for that.
Nothing loads from Google
Our Contact page used to embed a Google map. We have taken it out, because loading it handed your IP address to Google before you had agreed to anything. The address is printed on the page instead, with a link to open it in Google Maps if you want to. Following that link takes you to Google on Google’s terms, not ours, and nothing here is set either way.
The typefaces this site uses are served from our own server too, so no part of it calls out to Google. Until you agree to advertising, this site makes no request to any third party at all.
What we do not use
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no heatmaps, no session recording. If we ever add any, we will update this page and ask you before it runs.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Changing your mind
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it does not make what we did beforehand unlawful.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, under its privacy or security options. If you delete the ones in the first table above you will be asked about cookies again on your next visit, and parts of the site may behave oddly until you answer.
